Head of Engineering - Relocation to Dubai

Salary: 45k-50k Dirhams per month

Our client is an exciting start-up, focusing on developing an innovative Medical Technology platform combining modern day technology with Data Analytics to enhance the way patients track their condition.

We are looking for an elite leader in the Software Engineering space to head out our client's expanding team, encouraging technical innovation and excellent delivery of our client's product.

What you will do:

• Lead and mentor engineers, setting technical direction
• Collaborate on project prioritization with stakeholders
• Oversee software development and maintain best practices
• Foster innovation and continuous improvement
• Manage relationships with partners and vendors, and stay updated on industry trends
• Address scalability challenges for long-term sustainability

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is preferred)
• Minimum of 9 years of software development experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership role
• Demonstrated success in leading and directing elite engineering teams
• Comprehensive grasp of software engineering principles, architecture, and design patterns
• Preference for experience in healthcare or digital health industries
• Proficiency in contemporary software development technologies such as cloud-based architectures, microservices, and DevOps methodologies
• Effective stakeholder management experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities, adept at collaborating across diverse teams
